The 2008 trail racing season is only but half way completed and many of the athletes on Team Inov-8 have been having some stellar performances. This is the first year where we have had a cohesive team with a team manager and with the overwhelming positive response to our products we have been very pleased with our ambassadors we have chosen to represent Inov-8.

The US Team is comprised of 37 individual athletes representing disciplines of trail running, Mountain Running, Xterra, Ultra Running, speed hiking and climbing. We also have sponsored 5 Adventure Race teams who have been putting up some incredible performances thus far in 2008.

An amazing stat is that Team Inov-8 athletes have won 33 races and have finished in the top three, 47 times just through May of 2008. Winning is not the only criteria we look for in choosing our athletes, being ambassadors of their respective disciplines speaks volumes for our brand. Our athletes give back to their sport in many ways: through public speaking engagements, clinics, coaching, trail maintenance, volunteering at races or events, race directing and mostly being approachable at events by the public who may seek their expert opinion or advice.

The Inov-8 Team blog site was also launched in 2008 and it has been an excellent means of communication amongst our athletes and for the general public to learn more about the team and our products. http://team.inov-8.us/
