The young string quintet from Charlottesville, Va., gets to record with mandolin master David Grisman and makes one the best newgrass albums of the past year, an acoustic music lover’s paradise complete with the diversity of old-time picking, long Latin odysseys, Celtic romps, and an addictive cover of Stevie Wonder’s “Superstition,” which features guitarist Jesse Harper’s soulful voice adding to the string virtuosity.
