Produced by the folks at Rapid Transit, The Eddy Feeling seeks to answer a fundamental question: why is kayaking so infectious? Center stage in this film is the Linville River, one of the wildest, most remote rivers in the Eastern U.S. Bonus highlight: listening to Tom McEwen recount his first attempt at the Linville, where he got pinned and had to break through the bottom of his fiberglass boat in order to escape. In the process, he lost his shorts and had to hike out of the gorge wearing only his spray skirt.
