Rocky Knob Park

Boone, N.C. is getting more attractive for mountain bikers. The county received a $5,000 grant early in 2010 from Bikes Belong to begin building a trail system at Rocky Knob Park, a 175-acre tract of land in North Carolina’s High Country. The county is planning to use the grant to leverage additional funds from the state’s Parks and Recreation Trust Fund. The trail system will include a stacked loop design with 10-12 miles of singletrack.
