The Inaugural Laurel Lake Half Ironman Triathlon

Location: Laurel Lake in London, Ken.

Laurel River Lake is located minutes from London, Corbin and Somerset, Kentucky –one hour south of Lexington, Kentucky and one hour 15 minutes north of Knoxville, Tenn.

Racers will experience some of the most spectacular scenery found throughout all of southern Kentucky. The race will start with a 1.2 mile swim in the pristine waters of Laurel Lake. The 56-mile bike leg will include the challenging hills of the Daniel Boone National Forest. You will cycle across the wild and scenic Rockcastle River and through the picturesque community of Mount Victory. The 13.1 mile run will follow along the smooth shady shoreline of Laurel Lake and Holly Bay. Celebrate your race with an after-race dinner and live music at Graig’s Creek Group Campground. Each participant’s meal is included with registration.
