LOCUST HILL GRAVEL GRINDER – June 10, 2018 (9am-3pm)

Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Locust Hill Farm is a privately-owned farm that encompasses over 5,000 continuous acres of mixed-terrain.

Only 90 miles from the center of Washington, D.C.., Locust Hill is surrounded by untouched, historic land. The farm borders Cedar Mountain where the historic Civil War battle took place in 1862.

The ride will explore Locust Hill Farm and Preserve on gravel farm roads that run along the Robinson River, weave through open fields, cross hardwood and pine forests trails, and pass serene creeks and ponds. The area is truly a gravel enthusiast’s dream as well as a beautiful wildlife haven.

This event is a fundraiser for local equestrian group, Bull Run Hunt. It is the 1st of an annual ride that we hope can become a gravel race in the future. Your entry fee includes an amazing gravel experience, ride support and aid-stations, post-ride food and beverages, and commemorative swag.
