Register here if you plan on coming! It’ll help us with planning:

The JFA Trail system is over 6 miles of flowing hiking and mountain biking trails right here in the Upstate off Scenic Highway 11. If you haven’t been yet, this is a great time to experience this outdoor gem in our backyard. If you are a regular, time to pay up with some manual labor that keeps the trail in business.

Who: All ages and abilities welcome

What: Trail Maintenace – Digging, cutting, clearing, smoothing, raking, outsloping, and more

When: 9am to Noon

Where: Pleasant Ridge Park, 4232 Highway 11 (don’t always trust your GPS with this one)

Why: Because it’s almost Halloween and someone needs to help out the trails after the Halloween Ridge Cat! (if you want to join the festivities Friday night, contact us about overnight arrangements):

All tools and instruction will be provided, along with coffee, breakfast snacks, water, and maybe some lunch (TBD). Remember to wear clothes that can get dirty, closed toes shoes, gloves, long sleeves, and bring things like sunscreen or bug spray.
