Featuring 6,000 acres of mountain fun at mother nature’s finest design, summer is emerging on the mountain with both the thrill-seeker and chill seeker in mind! Don’t catch a case of FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) and join us this summer for all new memories! Take a deep breath and break free – Summer 2k22 is HERE and we’re back better than ever!

It’s time to play catch up on the fun!  We’re back with all your favorites including the famous Massanutten Indoor/Outdoor WaterPark, Mountain Biking, the Family Adventure Park, 30 miles of hiking, Olympic street curling, and more! This summer we have an incredible lineup of new, expanded, and re-imagined adventures for all ages including ax throwing & archery classes, summer field days, outdoor cooking classes at Rugged Cup, pickleball lessons, E-bike tours, E-Game tournaments, expanded teen nights at aquatics locations, an arcade expansion, yoga classes, and exciting photo opportunities with our Resort Mascots!

Summer reaches epic heights at Massanutten where we will be hosting our annual Summer Jam Festival on July 3rd, 2022 from 5 -10 pm, featuring 10 pm fireworks celebrating America’s birthday! Bring the kids out for the festivities including fun and games from White Cat Ha! Featuring food vendors including Big Fat Daddy’s, Bayou Kitchen, K’s Grill, Kona Ice, Urgie’s Cheesesteaks, and Vova’s Kettle Corn with a beer & wine garden by Molson Coors, Blue Ridge Beverage, and CrossKeys Vineyards! You’ll be entertained all night with an all-star lineup featuring 90’s rock and alternative band, Brisk at 5 – 6:15 PM, Rhythm and Blues singer, TC Carter at 6:45 – 8 PM, and an international tribute band to Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers, the WildFlowers at 8:30 – 10 PM!

As we continue to celebrate our 50th year on the mountain, we bring with us into the next age several initiatives to build sustainability and growth on the mountain. Starting with our “Going Green” efforts, we are proud to offer electric vehicle charging stations, water fountains for reusable bottles, waste oil heating furnaces to heat the snowmaking maintenance building in winter by recycling used motor oil, and our newest solar array panel initiatives on the Woodstone Check-In building, our laundry facility, and near our WaterPark. Additionally, as part of growing our resort, we will be working towards expanding our Ski slopes, including Mueller’s Mile. The resort will also add LED lighting fixtures to the new terrain and replace existing metal halide lights with LED lighting. This is all part of a 3-year expansion project that includes six new trails and replacing a 30-year-old fixed-grip lift with a High-Speed Quad in the summer of 2023.

In every direction at Massanutten, excitement is in the air as the mountain re-awakens with guests and wildlife. As we come together once more, we invite you and yours to join us as we enter our fifth decade of business, fun, and family adventures. Meet you on the mountain!
