Anybody want to buy a bike?

Bettina Freese

If you recall from last week’s blog, my previous ride included a wreck in which I flew over the handlebars. What I did NOT realize until putting the bike into the truck, was that my handlebars were twisted to the side. I was wondering why that descent down Big Creek seemed so tricky. I seriously thought I was just so tired that I couldn’t control the bike. Now I’m rather proud of myself for being able to stay ahead of Jeff with my wheel pointed in the wrong direction (sorry Jeff…heheheh).

What’s embarrassing, is I forgot the bike was like that. It was my girlfriend, wheeling my bike up the driveway, who sweetly asked if I knew that my handlebars were facing the wrong direction. Geezus.

Anybody want to buy a bike? It’s been well-maintained…er…ridden.
