Bike Shop Dreams

Wanna start your own bike shop? Two Martinsville, Va., residents are offering six months of free rent to prospective bike entrepreneurs, hoping to lure a bicycle store and repair shop to the popular outdoor town. Martinsville is criss-crossed with trails, and it’s within striking distance of Rocky Knob, Pilot Mountain, Hanging Rock, and the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Dr. Mervyn and Virginia King are offering free rent for six months for a building in uptown Martinsville that would make a great bicycle store and repair shop.  The owner would be responsible for utilities and real estate taxes. Contact them at vrking@kimbanet.com.
