Southern Deadheads have a lot to be excited about this summer. In July, Furthur, the latest band from Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh and rhythm guitarist Bob Weir, will play shows in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. Also, today it was announced that immediately after Furthur tour, Weir will play select dates on a short solo acoustic run with intimate theater stops in Knoxville, Tenn., and Charlottesville, Va.


Furthur Dates:

July 28 – Time Warner Cable Music Pavilion – Raleigh, N.C.

July 29 – Charter Amphitheatre – Simpsonville, S.C.

July 31- Encore Park – Alpharetta, Ga.

Weir Solo:

August 2 – Bijou Theatre – Knoxville, Tenn.

August 4 – Jefferson Theater – Charlottesville, Va.
