Bob Peoples, owner of Kincora Hikers’ Hostel in Hampton, Tennessee, says that his hostel will soon reach a huge milestone. In April, Peoples anticipates hosting his 25,000 hiker along the Appalachian Trail.

The AT legend opened his hostel in 1997 and has been providing shelter and hospitality to hikers along the trail ever since.

For a small donation, hikers that stay at the Kincora Hikers’ Hostel have access to a kitchen, laundry area, showers and bunkhouse. Peoples says he is considering having ice cream for anyone who is at his hostel the evening that his 25,000 hiker walks through the door.
