It should be no secret that the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic boasts dozens of zipcodes with vibrant outdoor scenes, an active lifestyle, and access to amazing adventures. Now we are asking you to select your favorites.

Who will be crowned the South’s top 3 outdoor towns in 2016? Our team has narrowed the field to 48 contenders spanning small towns to large cities. They are mountain biking meccas, whitewater oases, climbing paradises, and hiking nirvanas. Some are long established while others are quickly growing on the radars of our readers and outdoor enthusiasts everywhere.

Vote every 24 hours for your favorites on multiple devices! The contest runs for six weeks until September 19, and winners will be highlighted both online and in the November issue of Blue Ridge Outdoors. Round 1 runs for two weeks and will end at 9 AM on Monday, August 22 – Round 2 will start by 12 noon on Tuesday, August 23. Also be sure to enter to win a prize pack from Blue Mountain Brewery.
