America’s Hottest Species

The Endangered Species Coalition recently named ten of America’s endangered species impacted by global warming. The report, America’s Hottest Species, shows how the changing climate is increasing the risk of extinction for species on the brink of disappearing forever. A few species living in the Southeast made the list, including the Bog Turtle and Leatherback Sea Turtle.

The Endangered Species Coalition is asking that Congress address the protection of wildlife when considering climate change legislation.
