Leaf Peeper’s Delight

Autumn might produce quite a color show. The U.S. Forest Service is predicting a vibrant fall foliage season in Appalachia, as the region apparently received enough rain this spring and summer to bring out the crimson hues. When preceding seasons are too dry, leaves fall off early in autumn, before they can show the trues colors that come with producing less chlorophyll.
