A lone hiker who was missing for almost a week was found by the National Park Service on Saturday. Ken Knight was found in the Snowden area near the James River, according to a report in the Danville Register Bee. The visually impaired Knight is an editor for Backpacking Light Magazine. He had been hiking on the Appalachian Trail in Central Virginia and had not been seen since last Sunday. Knight was reportedly in good condition without injury.
