A few years ago hospital physician Dr. Chris Cavacuiti was hit by a truck while training for an Ironman triathlon. While recovering from fractured ribs, a broken collarbone, and a shattered shoulder blade he decided to do some research on the causes of most bike-car accidents. His findings “concluded that cyclists are the cause of less than 10 per cent of bike-car accidents.” Read more of his findings released by the University of Toronto here.
