The Nalgene water bottle is a stalwart hydration staple for adventurers, and right now picking up a new one—with a limited-edition design inspired by the Blue Ridge—will benefit access to clean water in Appalachia.
The Appalachia Nalgene Water Fund Bottle, available only online, is part of a series of bottle releases that funnel $5 per sale to the Nalgene Water Fund (NWF), a program launched back in 2019 that assists nonprofits and grassroots groups working to secure clean water for local communities.
Past NWF efforts have assisted Navajo Nation and Flint, Michigan, and this particular bottle benefits Dig Deep’s Appalachia Water Project, which is focused on water access in McDowell County, W.Va.
