Beech Mountain Resort’s Banked Slalom Race will return this Saturday, February 22, with a unique course featuring turns, banks, jumps and snow berms.
This is a timed race with a requirment to hit gates along the course. The slalom will run in conjunction with the third annual 80’s weekend, making this an event you won’t want to miss!
The entry fee is $15 and $30 discounted lift tickets are available through Group Sales for competitors.
Pre-registration is available at Recess or Edge of the World (EOW) until Friday. There are three divisions: Grom, Youth, and Open Men’s and Women’s with a cash purse for winners.
Registration on race day will be held in Roots Ride Shop, in Beech Tree Village, from 9:30a.m. – 11:30 a.m. with the event beginning at 1 p.m. Visit beechmountainresort.com for more information.
