The Foot Levelers Blue Ridge Marathon has more elevation change than any road race in the US, offering tough terrain with breathtaking overlooks along the Blue Ridge Parkway. The full marathon tackles three mountains, while the double marathon tackles six. If you’re not a masochist you can still test your grit on the half marathon, 10k or 4-person relay.
