New podcast from the Infamous Stringdusters’ Chris Pandolfi, exploring everything that’s behind the music and the artists we love

Have you ever wondered what goes into writing a hit song, crafting the setlist for a huge concert, or traveling the world playing shows night after night? Designed for music aficionados and casual music fans alike, Inside the Musician’s Brain is a deep dive into everything that’s underneath the music and the artists that inspire us. This new podcast from Chris Pandolfi (banjo player with the Infamous Stringdusters) explores life as a musician, and the unorthodox, ever-evolving journey that bands and solo acts navigate on their mission to bring their art to the people. He sits down with influential artists to discuss inspiration, creativity, life on the road, the music industry and the many other aspects of a life in music. Guests in season one including Paul Hoffman of Greensky Bluegrass, Billy Strings, Bill Nershi of the String Cheese Incident, Sierra Hull, Dave Simonet of Trampled by Turtles, Holly Bowling and many more.

The Stringdusters are a Grammy Award winning modern bluegrass quintet that have made a name for themselves with their musical innovation and a steady presence at the forefront of today’s booming bluegrass resurgence. Pandolfi is a both a fan of traditional forms of the music as well as an outspoken proponent of musical evolution, writing and speaking on the topic since the Stringdusters inception. He delivered the keynote address at the International Bluegrass Music Association business conference/trade show in 2011, and now sits on the Board of Directors.

Chris Pandolfi’s musical path has connected him with distinguished musicians and minds across a variety of musical worlds. He has been the driving force behind the Stringdusters business, as well as working as a session musician, and a producer for established bands like the Kitchen Dwellers and Trout Steak Revival. Inside the Musician’s Brain is Pandolfi’s chance to pull back the curtain and give listeners a look at everything that’s behind the music and the artists that inspire us.
