Not sure where to start? Massanutten offers a variety of adventure options for all ages and hobbies.

Bring the whole family and make a day trip out of it! If you’re looking to cool off, look no further than Massanutten WaterPark. The park features an Indoor three-floor building featuring a water fortress, body slides, pools, and a lazy river. During the summer, visitors can cool off at the Outdoor WaterPark and enjoy a wave pool, three brand new slides, or dine and relax under your own personal cabana. Advanced Admission tickets and Annual Passes for the WaterPark can be purchased online.

If you’d rather skip the WaterPark and explore something more adventurous, head up to the top of the mountain for downhill mountain biking, zip-lining, and golf.

Massanutten offers a lift-served Bike Park plus over 30 miles of cross-country trails on Massanutten’s Western Slope. The bike park consists of seven downhill trails separated by two lifts with upper trails suitable for experts and lower trails for beginner and intermediate level riders. The park also offers bike and protective equipment rentals.

Bikers with experience are encouraged to check out the Western Slope with trails winding up and down wooded terrain offering plenty of open-spaced trail loops, flowy singletracks, and a variety of short and long climbs. Bike Park Season Passes include access to both the park and Wester Slope cross-country trails. The Bike Park has a planned season opening in early May. The Western Slope is also welcomes hikers. Massanutten has guided hikes, walking paths, geocaching and a Chairlift Hike where people can ride the chairlift to the top of the peak and enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding valley and mountains.

Next door to the Bike Park lies Massanutten’s Family Adventure Park where guests can climb, tube, zip, and more. In the spring, visitors can zip down 800 feet of zip line on the Mega Zip and younger-aged visitors can climb and zip through the Kids’ Adventure Course. The park also features Summer Tubing, a Climbing Wall and Quick Flight with a 30’ free-fall sensation, and Kids’ Playland.

If adrenaline-pumping action is more your speed, check out our newest attraction – Ridge Rappel and Climbing Excursion or an exhilarating Canopy Tour. The Canopy Tour is a two-hour journey through the forest with bridges, hanging vines, and six zip lines. The Ridge Rappel and Climbing Excursion and Canopy Tour have a planned opening beginning Memorial Day Weekend. All other Family Adventure Park activities will be open for spring.

For the golfer in the family, Massanutten features tree-lined fairways and gorgeous scenery around every turn on two challenging yet playable 18-hole golf courses. In addition to two golf courses, the Resort also has a Driving Range and offers FlingGolf – an athletic and cool alternative to traditional golf. Both courses are open to the public and offer Golf Passes, daily specials, and Golf Memberships for adults, families, and juniors.
