Clips of the Week: Tour, Karakol, and the Chattahoochee

Our favorite outdoor web videos of the week that was:

1. Stripers on the Hooch

This is a quick release video of a striped bass caught on the Chattahoochee River. Caught on a 10 wt. the most impressive part is this guy landed the lunker from a canoe, which as we all know, can be a little unstable especially when fighting a huge striper.

2. Dodging the Peloton

Dogs running onto the route is nothing new at the Tour de France, but this clip of a dog tempting fate during the opening stage is great. Little did he know, the riders would take care of their own wrecks later in the stage.

3. The Road From Karakol

This one clocks in at 25 minutes, making it more of a mini-doc than a clip, but it is so good. If you have the time – hell, carve out some time – to watch this film self shot by Kyle Dempster on a solo bike/climb tour of Kyrgyzstan.

4. DIY is Worth the Squeeze

These guys take an old surf board and change it into something very cool. Plus, they are rewarded at the end, and so are you, with some super duper sun-worshiping eye candy. Enjoy and find you own project to tackle!
