You will find a newly renovated Ober Mountain. We are elevating the guest experience with items such as fire pits, new menus at our eateries and restaurant, new exciting events and much more. New in the Spring, Downhill Mountain Biking.

What are the best après ski activities in the resort and in the area?

The newly renovated Restaurant and Lounge offers a wide selection of food and drinks for skiers and snowboarders in need of refreshment!

What are your best runs and why?

They’re all great in their own ways, but Grizzly is our wonderful hidden gem. It is a long run with steep, varied terrain that is nestled along the tree line. It is one of our advanced runs and has less traffic than the others. It also offers nice views!

Where do you recommend visitors buy/rent their gear?

At the Shops at Ober, we have everything you need for a successful day on the slopes.

What are the best off-slope activities you offer?

Snow tubing and the Family Snow Zone

Where do you suggest visitors stay in the area?

There is an abundance of lodging in the area, we suggest Googling to find the best match for you.

What do you offer beginners who want to learn to ski?

Ober Mountain is a great place for beginners! We offer Ski School every day, all day when the slopes are open. No reservations are necessary! Group lessons are $30/person/hour and private lessons are $85/hour. We also have a $199 progressive 4-day Winter sports Discovery Program lesson package that includes 4 rentals, 4 lessons, and 4 lift tickets in the package.

Are there any good family-friendly activities?

Ober Mountain is fun for the whole family! We have rental ski and snowboard boots from toddler size 6 to adult size 16. For those that just want to play in the snow, our Family Snow Zone is perfect. Snow tubing is a low-skill, high thrill type of activity for everyone starting at age 3!
