OK, so maybe she is a Canuck, but on her new release “I’m a Mountain,” angelic-voiced folkie Sarah Harmer has embraced her inner-Appalachia. The Canadian troubadour crafted 11 tracks during a two-week hiking trip on the Bruce Trail in Southern Ontario, so this truly is the music of the outdoors. It jogged her mind to everything from nature (“Oleander”) to land use (“Escarpment Blues”) to the personal reflection of the title track.
