Trail enthusiasts around the country are getting ready for the annual celebration of their favorite footpaths this weekend. This Saturday, June 6, is National Trails Day . Started by the American Hiking Society, the day is mainly a call to service, as hiking clubs across the country organize maintenance and repair projects on local trails. Other events include educational exhibits, trail dedications, gear demonstrations, and instructional workshops. To find an NTD event in your backyard click here.
