Raising Cane

There’s a new attack on Valley Forge. This one is coming in the form of commercial development. The Coalition of National Park Service Retirees (CNPSR) is speaking out against the proposed development of a new complex with a hotel, tavern, convention center, and museum within the boundary of Valley Forge National Historical Park in Pennsylvania.

An organization called the American Revolution Center has a 78-acre in-holding within the park and pushed through the right to build by an ordinance of a local township.

The CNPSR wants to see the historic Revolutionary War site preserved as it is and is calling on the National Park Service to step in and save it from this modern-day siege.
