Winter Gear Guide 2021

If there is a silver lining to the pandemic, it’s that people are outdoors more than ever. Even in the colder winter months, folks are venturing outdoors to reconnect with the world and each other. Here is the gear you need for new winter adventure—or just staying warm art your next socially distanced outdoor gathering.

Nathan Sports Running Glove, $25

These lightweight, reflective gloves (74% Nylon / 18% Spandex) are perfect for winter runs. The brushed fleece lining keeps digits warm and are also smart-device compatible, so you don’t have to take your gloves off to answer a call, track your miles, or change the song. Bonus: they also feature a back-of-the-hand pocket for a key.

Salewa Ultratrain 3, $140
The new Salewa Ultratrain 3 is a great mix between running shoe and hiking boot. The Ultratrain 3 excels at mixed mountain terrain while remaining superbly cushioned. With an Ortholite footbed, this breathable-mesh-lined shoe includes an anti-rock heel cup. It is a versatile, lightweight and supportive hybrid shoe that can handle diverse terrain with ease.

Voormi High-E Hoodie, $249

The ultimate four-season Merino wool hoodie. Built with proprietary Thermal Wool Technology, this warm, moisture-wicking midlayer features a super tough, abrasion-resistant outer layer. The combination of a dialed thermal performance with a reinforced, durable water repellent (DWR) finish on the outer surface makes it a must-have for any adventure.

Go Sun Solar Light, $30

Stop worrying about AAA and AA batteries, and harness the power of the sun instead. The Solar Light features multiple modes (lantern mode, emergency, spotlight, etc) and a built-in rechargeable battery compatible with a USB cord, or the sun. Its USB adapter actually allows you to charge other electronics using the Solar Light itself.

Patagonia Retro Pile Fleece Jacket, $111

This 100% recycled fleece jacket is Fair Trade Certified™ sewn and Bluesign approved.  Look good and feel good in this Full-zip , 8.7-ounce Polartec jacket with a zip-through stand-up collar for heat-trapping comfort.

Nathan Sports Versa Long Sleeve, $65

This loose-fitting, versatile long-sleeve shirt (93% polyester / 7% elastane) is a combination of comfort and function. The moisture-wicking, quick-drying four-way stretch fabric makes it ideal for winter trail runs or rides, and it even features reflective detail for squeezing in night workouts. The buttery soft-knit also works well as a post-workout layer or for a casual hangout.
