LOCKN’ is conveniently located in Central Virginia so you can stay for the 4-day duration, come for a 3-day weekend, or get a Single-Day ticket! If you can only make a single day of the festival, you can experience an amazing value chock full of continuous music on three stages, 24 Virginia Craft Beer offerings, the best regional food, curated craft booths, new friends, and a wide range of outdoor activities, including 8 miles of bike trails, hiking, and yoga and wellness programs to start your mornings off! Trinity Church offers shuttles to our private watering hole, the Tye River for tubing down the Tye, but if you’re more of a solo adventurer, you can take a short drive to some of the best hiking spots in the region, including Skyline Drive National Park and Blue Ridge Drive National Park.

If you are coming for a day, get Single-Night Camping and opt-in for the traditional festival camping experience. If camping’s not your thing, you’ll appreciate the convenient in and out car parking and the hundreds of nearby lodging options. There are so many ways to experience LOCKN’. The possibilities are endless!

Making its debut at LOCKN’ is Hamageddon, a 14’ high by 18’ long metal art pig that cooks a pig-on-a-spit in its “belly,” and shoots fireballs from its nostrils and rear. Celebrity chef and blues legend Taj Mahal will be serving up some tasty delights.

The Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia are one of the most beautiful parts of America, providing visual inspiration 24-hours a day.

Organizers have also revealed a pair of special collaborations set to go down at the annual event. In May, LOCKN’ revealed that Dead & Company will be joined by renowned saxophonist Branford Marsalis. Marsalis previously shared the stage with the Grateful Dead in the early-1990 for some of Deadhead’s favorite shows of all time.

LOCKN’ is all about collaborations, and another highlight this year is drummer Jason Bonham, the son of late Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham, joining Umphrey’s McGee for a full set of Led Zeppelin classics.

LOCKN’ is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for a historical weekend! Don’t miss an amazing weekend of great music, craft food, beverages, outdoor activities, and more. Because life is too short to miss great music!
