Join us on one of three amazing bike routes to explore Maryland’s scenic coastal region. This event also offers the opportunity to preserve this pristine Eastern Shore environment. We hope to increase the awareness and volunteer efforts to keep Assateague Island free of trash and preserve the habitat for all to enjoy.
The Island Ride
Explore the beauty of Assateague Island area. Approximately 14 miles of a flat, pristine coastal island setting. This will be the featured ride for the Island Cleanup. 14 miles.
The Surf & Turf
This course combines the beach vibe with the exploration of Maryland’s coastal back country. Flat and scenic, this course will get you back to the harbor for the festival a little earlier in the day. 35 miles.
The Metric Century
So, you’re serious about this cycling thing! Starting from Ocean City’s famed “White Marlin” harbor, you will visit Assateague Island area, then enjoy the flat and scenic Worcester County countryside before returning to the harbor for food, drinks, and music. 65 miles.
