When the hustle and bustle of urban life get too hectic, and too HOT, the Greenbrier Valley offers many reasons for you to get out and play, and even more reasons for you to stay.

Nestled on the border of West Virginia and Virginia, amidst the Allegheny Mountains, the Greenbrier Valley has everything you need for a vacation – overwhelming natural beauty, outdoor recreation, small town charm, family friendly events and activities, and world class resorts.   

More and more, visitors are putting down roots and making the valley home, recognizing that what draws them here is what they need most.  Amidst the relaxed mountain living, there is an abundance of opportunities for entrepreneurs, remote workers, and all those embracing a new work-life balance.

There are plenty of reasons to visit the Greenbrier Valley.  Summertime is one of the best times to enjoy our thousands of acres of public land and outdoor recreation opportunities. Race down a mountain bike trail, backpack through the wilderness areas, kayak down a winding river, there are endless reasons to be outside in our region.

Summertime is also chock full of fairs and festivals that celebrate the region’s history and culture, our including delectable food and some pretty amazing music. These festivals bring old fashion family fun to the forefront.

Public and private school options offer choice for families.  The many artisan groups in the area make for a thriving arts scene, and the region is known for being a food destination with its diverse and delicious restaurant offerings.
