Not all of Florida is flat! When it comes to epic bike trails, Tallahassee has it all. From winding white-knuckle paths through dense forests to gentle rides around pristine lakes, there’s a perfect route for every age and skill level. Trails for Advanced Riders

If ripping through single-track dips and dives sounds like your kind of rush—Florida’s Capital City delivers. Tom Brown Park boasts miles and miles of incredible bike routes, including two famous flow trails, Kudzilla and the Gun Range. Both are loaded with twists, turns, dips, jumps and technical features guaranteed to get your heart racing. While you’re exploring Tom Brown, take a few laps on the park’s Pump Track. Test your skills on a variety of intense man-made hills, jumps, twists and turns that will get you warmed up for more of Tallahassee’s pulse-raising rides, including the renowned Cadillac Mountain Bike Trails.

Moderate Trails to Explore

For bikers riding at a moderate level, Tallahassee has no shortage of exciting bike trails to choose from. Looking for a lengthy ride filled with undulating twists and turns? Check out Red Bug Trail in Tallahassee’s Elinor Klapp-Phipps Park or perhaps the series of fast and flowy trails running through the Apalachicola National Forest at Munson Hills. These famed Tallahassee trails offer incredible views of native wildlife as well as their fair share of exciting twists and turns. Other moderate Tallahassee trails that provide a pleasantly vigorous pace are the Magnolia MTB, Oak Hammock Loop and Twilight trails.

Trails for All Ages and Skill Levels

For a gentle ride around Lake Piney Z, the Lafayette Heritage Trail offers a relaxing trip that takes you through some of Tallahassee’s most breathtaking views and features spots to stop and fish or picnic along the way. Other relaxing Tallahassee trails you will definitely want to explore are the Miccosukee Greenway Trails, San Luis Park Loop Trail and the Lake Overstreet Trail at Maclay Gardens.
