Q: What’s new?

Join us for our Apres Ski weekend theme parties. The Alpine Pasta House is a new walk-through Italian restaurant with a variety of pastas, Italian dishes, gluten-free flatbreads, and salad bar.

Q: What are the best après ski activities at the resort and in the area?

Stop by our theme parties every Saturday from 3-6 p.m. Whether you join the 1980’s One-piece Ski Suit Contest or for drinking songs with our electric accordion player dressed in traditional Lederhosen, #ApresWisp is the place to be.


Q: Where do you recommend visitors buy their gear?

Outdoor Elements retail store is located in the lower level of Wisp Resort and has an array of gear options. The retail store is next to our main gear rental hub, where you can rent skis and snowboards for the whole crew.

Q: What activities are available beyond the slopes?

We have Maryland’s only mountain coaster that runs all winter long, a full snow tubing slope, two Escape rooms, and a Nordic cross-country course (weather permitting).

The Lodge at Wisp boasts 169 hotel rooms and suites, located slope-side on Wisp property with $2.6 million in renovations, outdoor fire pits, an indoor pool, state-of-the art fitness center, and

onsite dining. There are a number of real estate agents in the area to help you with purchasing a home on the mountain.

What do you offer for beginners who want to learn how to ski or snowboard?

Learn to Ski or Ride Package is good for ages 8 and up and Kid’s Ski School is the best option for children.

What are the best runs and why?

Main Street for its speed and Down Under for the unique tunnel at the end of it.

Do you offer any family friendly activities?

Our entire resort is family friendly. Come join us at our mountain park or roast s’mores by one of our outdoor firepits.

Are there activities available in the off season?

We offer an array of activities in the off-season: whitewater rafting on our man-man circulating whitewater course, mountain biking, chairlift rides, canopy tours, hiking, and so much more!
